Join Us – Enjoy Some Live Music in Truckee This Summer…..

My family loves concerts, and every week there are opportunities for live music in Truckee this Summer. These venues are beautiful spots in North Lake Tahoe, and the shows are free.  Read on for links to the performance lineups of my favorite spots to listen to live music.

Summer Concert Series at Gray’s Crossing:

Come to PJ’s (better known as the 19th hole) for an intimate setting with barbecue food, cocktails, and live music.  Lawn space with views of the championship 18 hole golf course is available on a first come, first serve basis (low-back chairs OK, no outside food or beverages). The show runs from 5:30pm – 7:30pm.   We are huge fans of The Lique, The Wheelan Brothers and Ike and Martin, who will be performing this summer.  See the full lineup here.  See you on Tuesday!

Concerts at Commons Beach

Commons Beach and playground is located lakefront in downtown Tahoe City. They host live music every Sunday at 4pm from June 17th to September 2nd 2018. Guests are welcome to bring picnics, blankets, and low-back chairs for a chill lakeside evening. Local food and drink vendors sell beer, wine, sushi, bbq foods, ice cream, and more. Come early and enjoy the beach with friends and family.  Full lineup here.

Music in the Park

Every Wednesday from June 20 to August 29, there’s a community gathering with great music in the amphitheater located at Truckee Regional Park.  Show is from 6:30 – 8:30pm.  Parking is at 10500 Brockway Road, walk back to the amphitheater located by the Truckee River.  Full lineup here, including a Tom Petty Tribute band.  Bring your own food and drinks.

I hope you enjoy some live music in Truckee this Summer!
